With a passion for helping owners and managers in organisations
achieve the best from their people, Laura understands what
it takes for a business to be successful. With a need in the
marketplace for businesses to have tools and integrated processes
that work when it comes to dealing with people issues, Laura
is building a very successful business. She works with small
to medium sized businesses, both in the private and public
sectors and across many industries. Her focus is on practical
solutions, appropriate for the business.
Laura is regularly asked to speak at various functions and
networking events as well as run workshops for private clients.
Some of the groups she has spoken to include the Australian
Institute of Management, local council groups such as Monash
and Wyndham City Council, The Executive Connection (TEC)
Greater Western Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Victoria and Swinburne Universities, and
Industry groups such the Australian Manufacturing Institute of Technology. Topics include
those such as Motivation and Retention of staff, Incentives, Generational differences,
and Human Capital Management. Her method of conducting presentations
and workshops ensures interest and active participation by
attendees, enabling them to immediately integrate new concepts.
In her free time, Laura enjoys traveling, reading, hiking
and spending time with family and friends.
Shannon Jones, HR Assistant
Shannon joined People Dynamics in 2007, after graduating from Monash University in 2006. She holds a Bachelor of Arts with specialties in ancient cultures and theatre studies, and is currently a student of Swinburne University working towards a Graduate Diploma of Business (Human Resource Management).
Shannon brings with her a sound knowledge of the small business environment, having worked in family business for several years.
Shannon works Monday to Wednesday (8.30am to 4.30pm).
Emma Zhao, PA to Director
Emma joined the People Dynamics team in 2008 as Laura's Personal Assistant.
She is currently studying a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Psychology and Politics.
Her working hours are Monday to Wednesday from 8.30am to 1.30pm.
